Start Licensing represent the Land of Lost Content for licensing.
The Land of Lost Content is a creative resource that contains over 500 , 000 images – it is the world’s largest archive of 20th Century popular culture.
As well as it’s digital form it also exists as a physical Museum in Shropshire in the UK.
The collection ranges from postcards to pamphlets , from button badges to brochures. At the core of the collection is a love and appreciation of good quality design. However, it celebrates the ordinary – the things that we have used , read or consumed in our everyday lives. The Land of Lost Content seeks to preserve those things as a reference source , a source of inspiration but also as a cultural record for future generations. For many years the Land of Lost Content has been used by design students and professionals as a design resource and reference point. It is now available for use by commercial licensing partners.
